Plans are under way across the country to increase awareness for our agencies and the need and impact of mentoring programs for children. As the largest mentoring program provider in Canada, Big Brothers Big Sisters helps thousands of children every year by matching them with caring adult role models. We hope to bring that message home to Cambridge, loud and clear. 

    Keep an eye out for signage, media attention and special events during the month of September. Wendy’s Restaurants in Cambridge will also be supporting our efforts so visit them today. We are also excited to be holding an amazing Raffle with 2 fantastic prizes.  A round trip for 2 to any destination flies WestJet  and a Sundance Balloon Ride courtesy of ChymFM.  Call us to get your ticket at $5 each or 3 for $10.  Draw date is December 17th.

    We are asking for your help, as well. If you have an empty reader board on your exterior signage, please give us a plug. We will have a great new poster, information slips and brochures that we can deliver to you for distribution. We are always honoured to be the recipient of any office raffles, 50/50 draws or charitable BBQs, but any additional events that might bring our efforts to the attention of your employees and patrons would be greatly appreciated. 

    The best way you can support our efforts is to volunteer as a Big Brother or Big Sister. With the population growth of our community, the need will continue to increase.
